Service projects (we help you)
Naturally as Cub Scouts, we are always looking for good service projects that help the community. Book drives, conservation projects, helping those in need--these are all examples of projects where Pack 3097 can pitch in and help. Contact us if you have any ideas or to request help with a community service project!
Anything suitable for Cub Scouts from first through fifth grade. Examples of service projects include:
- Assist with a book drive
- Litter removal and cleanup
- Planting trees and bushes
- Visitation of seniors and a simple program such as our Cub Scout Magic Show
Visit your business or organization (you help us)
We have partnered with several local businesses and organizations to hold events at their location from time to time. Many of our projects and advancement requirements include outreach that would suit your business. If you do something interesting, it's a good bet that Cub Scouts want to learn about it! Contact us if you would like for our pack to visit your business or organization.
Examples of current "friends of the Pack" include:
- A local grocery store has provided lessons on nutrition and healthy food
- A local martial arts academy provides an annual complementary health and fitness lesson
- Local fire and police departments teach safety and first response skills
- A local hardware store has provided tools and supplies for craft projects
